Corbyn's Baptism 8/8/10

Corbyn Paige was baptized this past weekend...what a special day with friends and family! Corbyn was such a good girl and looked so cute! We had a great party at Gigi and Pops and enjoyed celebrating with all those that mean so much to us! God bless Corbyn:)

More 8 month pics!

Corbyn enjoyed her first shopping cart ride today...for about 15 minutes, then she was done and wanted to be held the rest of the time! Her new favorite toy is our shoes. she loves trying to gather them all together! And Josie loves to watch her play! Once Corbyn leaves a toy, Josie has to "examine" it and often tries to copy Corbyn's play...too cute! Corbyn loves playing with balls and seems to learn new vocabulary words every day. She responds to words like "ball, book, dog, josie, daddy" consistently. She also loves songs and is familiar with tons of baby tunes/rhymes! We just love our little girl more and more everyday!!!

8 months--First Beach Trip

Corbyn is now 8 months old! She is now crawling and pulling herself up to stand. She is into everything and constantly on the move. She has two bottom teeth and one trying to come in on the top. She eats jar food 2-3 times a day and has started munching on some solids. Corbyn loves babbling "dadada"..no "mama" yet! She now waves bye-bye and plays peek-a-boo. She had her first sleep over at Gigi and Pop's without mommy and daddy and did very well! She's so easy-going.
We went to Ocean City for our family mini-vacation this past weekend and she LOVED the beach! Corbyn so enjoyed wiggling her toes in the sand and water and even seemed to like the taste of the salty sand...yuck! We had a great time with our family and good family friends! Can't wait til next year's vacation!

7 months--Trip to Arkansas!

Corbyn took her first flight to Arkansas this month to visit family! She was just perfect on the flight...traveling with me only, as Matt drove to Arkansas with Josie. She so enjoyed meeting her aunts and uncles and playing with her cousins! Corbyn now gives kisses, plays peek-a-boo, gestures parts of Itsy-Bitsy-Spider and tries to crawl. Her teeth are starting to pop through...very slowly! She loves water (bath time, swimming in the pool), watching TV (I know, this is bad! Just a few minutes a day, promise!), and playing with other kids. She LOVES mommy time and has had some major stranger anxiety lately. It's hard sometimes to get things done, but I won't complain, as I know this won't last long! She HATES getting in her car seat and stroller and getting her diapers or clothes changed...doesn't want to lay down or be restricted for a second!

Corbyn Paige--6 months!!

Wow, does time fly! I can't believe it was 6 months ago when we welcomed Miss Corbyn Paige into this world! I now can't remember what life was like without her! She brings us so much joy and laughter...and has taught us so much already! She is now able to sit up all by herself, she eats a jar of baby food mixed with oatmeal each day, and enjoys trying to drink from her sippy cup. Still no teeth, but seems to be teething. She is no longer swaddled at night, and still sleeps for 12-13 hours a night...such a good girl! We have rearranged our living room to give her more space to play and she loves it...as does Josie!

Corbyn 5 months

So sorry for being so behind in my posts! I will add some "6 month pics" shortly! But for now, enjoy these sweet pictures of our baby girl! We left her overnight for the first time this month. She stayed with her Aunt Kallie while Matt and I went to Nashville for the weekend. Great time, but we sure missed Corbyn Paige! She had a blast with Aunt Kallie, though! At 5 months old, Corbyn was eating about 1/2 a jar of baby food mixed with oatmeal each day. She was still swaddled at night, but enjoyed rolling all around during the day. Corbyn is growing up way too fast and we love her more each day!
